LOST STAR

A photo album , older than a dozen years Faded photographs You were young back then I remember holding hands with you Even though they weren't strong anymore Wrinkled skin , gentle touch You left me with a lot of blurred memories Yet , I remember your face That was kind to me 'Mama , I want to stay with grandma I always used to hide behind you Whenever my mom told me to come home I remember , we used to go to the park And you always smiled seeing me play while sitting at the same old bench Stars are not visible from my room But I believe, you're the star that shines brightly over me Someday, when I also become a star I wish I'd be a star next to you Then I'd tell you my stories,just like you used to tell me yours You were,you are , and you'll always be My brightest star.
