*DAILY LOAD DEVOTIONAL* ... blessed be the LORD who DAILY LOADS us with benefits- Ps. 68:19. *TOPIC:* The authority of the Word 3 *TEXT:* John 1:1-5, Psalm 107:20 *DATE:* 31-01-2024 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions (Ps. 107:20). Whenever I traveled home to visit my mum without prior information used to be somehow. At times, I would just feel like visiting and embarked on the journey without pre-informing her. In my observation, whenever I got home in that kind of state, firstly, I would find the doors locked. Nobody would be in the house. Everywhere would be locked. So I would have to call her that I'm around. So she would rush home if she's nearby to open the door for me but if she's not nearby, I would have to wait. Another thing is that, I would meet my room untidied. The room that whenever she knows I'm coming home, she will tidy it up and make it clean but because she was not aware of my coming, the room will be met unkept. Also, since she was unaware of my coming, there won't be food made ready for me. Though I don't eat as such during the day but in the night, whenever I want to break, I do eat well. At times when I come around like that, I would check the kitchen, dinning section looking for food and she will be like, "I didn't know you were coming, I would have prepared your food". So she would have to quickly prepare something for me to eat. What a wonderful mother God blessed me with! I celebrate God in her life. Why I'm I saying all these? According to our text, the power of sending word ahead is very awesome and effectual. The Psalmist discovered what always happens when God sends His word. The sent word of God brings healing and delieverance (Ps. 107:20). Imagine if the word is not sent, there will be suffering of sickness and bondage. Just as I also suffered doors locked, bedroom untidied and hunger because I did not send word ahead that I'm coming home. So it is when you don't send the word of God ahe
