Molly was only 9 years old when she started her act of kindness. She shows love to everyone and even to a madman that frequent their waste bin for lunch and dinner. She would give half of her meal to the madman called,
Thomas. It didn't take long for Molly's mother to notice what she described as an act of folly and waste of her money. She scolded Molly never to show kindness to the madman. This greatly displeased Molly and she sank into sadness for days. Thomas soon noticed and walk up to Molly's front door and hit it hard with a stone and the moment Molly's mother came out, he spoke in parables,"The moon that shines in the east is darkened by an owl who lack wisdom, get wisdom today and know that the moon's happiness is to shine always. please don't kill her shine." He walk away angrily. Molly's mother thought over his words for a while before she figured it out. Molly who have been sick when told by mother she is free to feed Thomas with a portion of her meal, suddenly became well and walked out of her sick bed with a smile that shocked her mother. Molly said," Mum you just gave me the best treatment for my illness." Her mother looked at her and asked "What medicine?"
Molly smiled and said, "HAPPINESS."
Molly's mother hit her head and wondered why she didn't figured this right from the start when Molly fell ill and now she felt she had learnt a lesson after she had wasted so much money on Molly's health when the simple solution to her health is restoring her to her former state.
Be happy always to stay healthy. It is a little secret Doctors can't tell you because happiness is supernatural.

✦ Story behind this post
Amma's voice wavered through the fever, singing Thiruppavai verses her grandmother taught her decades ago. During those darkest nights, when illness threatened to steal her strength, she refused to surrender to despair.
Her daughter returned home, drawn by something unspoken. She found her mother's resilience brave, inspiring. Together they chanted ancient Tamil words, each syllable an act of courage.
The community noticed. Neighbors brought food, sat vigil, offered compassion freely. No rewards existed except the essential gift of togetherness. Amma recovered, her spirit unbroken, carrying forward traditions that sustained generations through suffering, binding family and heritage inseparably.
