This is where I hail from. lake Bunyonyi is situated in Kigezi Region in the Southwestern part of Uganda in Eastern Africa.
This lake is the second deepest in Africa. there are 36 small islands in this lake.
When the Former Prime minister of England visited the region and saw the beauty of the landscape he name Kigezi Region " The Switzerland of Africa"
the late neighbours Bwindi forest the home of Mountain Gorillas .
This is a must visit before anyone leaves this planet earth.
