Forgive at all costs
In a world filled with hurt and strife, The power of forgiveness is a precious lifeline, It heals wounds that run deep, And brings solace, even after nights of endless weep. Forgiveness, a beacon of compassion and grace, Unleashes the shackles, lets anger erase, It liberates the heart from the burden of pain, And allows true healing to begin again. In the face of betrayal or harmful deeds, Forgiveness is the bridge that mends broken needs, It bridges the gap, restores broken trust, And helps us move forward when we feel unjust. Forgiveness is not an act of weakness or defeat, But a courageous choice, a path to find peace, It does not condone or forget the wrong, Instead, it sets us free, making us strong. Like a balm, forgiveness soothes the soul, It offers a chance for redemption to make us whole, It allows us to release the chains of resentment, And reclaim our innate capacity for contentment. Through forgiveness, we choose to let go, Of bitterness, anger, and resentment's throes, We embrace empathy, understanding, and love, And rise above, like a soaring dove. In forgiving others, we also heal ourselves, Opening our hearts to joy that forever dwells, For in harboring grudges, we only prolong, The pain and anguish that keeps us from moving along. So let forgiveness be the guiding light, That illuminates our path, so pure and bright, For when we forgive, we nourish our soul, And in the power of forgiveness, we become whole.

Anita discovered her grandmother's Tamil poetry collection gathering dust. Lines about forgiveness whispered across generations. She joined PaybookClub seeking connection, sharing verses about letting go. Her estranged brother attended a meeting. Their eyes met across the circle. Through borrowed words of ancient poets, they found language for healing. Each poem became a bridge built from shared heritage. The club became their sanctuary. Anita's grandmother's voice echoed through their discussions, reminding them that forgiveness flows through Tamil blood, binding broken hearts with golden threads of culture and community.
