Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported that three drones attempted an attack on a business and shopping development in Moscow City. One Ukrainian UAV was destroyed in the air over the Odintsovo district, while two others were jammed and crashed in Moscow City. Additionally, in Russia-occupied Crimea, 25 Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted; sixteen were destroyed by Russian air defenses, and the rest crashed in the Black Sea due to electronic warfare jamming. Drones were initially used by Ukraine for targeting Russian positions on the battlefield, but now they are suspected to target locations inside Russian territory. Russian state news agency TASS reported the attack on the "IQ-Quarter" building in Moscow City, resulting in glass breakage on the fifth and sixth floors. Videos and witnesses confirmed explosions and fire, but no casualties occurred. The attack in Moscow came after a Russian missile strike on Sumy, Ukraine, which caused one civilian death and five injuries according to Ukraine's Interior Ministry.
