My twin cats so noisy
Amma always said our old Tamil home in Chennai bred chaos louder than any monsoon. When I adopted twin kittens, I understood perfectly. They yowled through midnight prayers, scattered across grandmother's silk sarees drying on the line. My neighbors marked me as that crazy cat person. Yet somehow, through our shared WhatsApp group, they started bringing fish scraps, sharing their own pet stories. Those noisy creatures became our village's unofficial mascot. One evening, watching them play beneath the pooja room's oil lamp, I realized something beautiful had happened. Our cats had woven us together, much like the threads connecting us to our ancestors.
