Joseph’s life was so miserable: he was sold by his brothers, worked as a slave, was framed by his master’s wife, and went to jail. At first, he was not thankful, he was sad and difficult. But in his heart, he knew God had a plan for his life, and God was leading him to become the governor of Egypt.
When we focus on our hearts, we think about the situation, and everything becomes a problem. We lose strength and give up. But when we move our focus to the Bible and heart of God, even if it is the same situation, nothing is a problem. When our hearts are connected to God and the church, everything can be solved by His grace.
God gave us grace to become His children, so now we belong to Jesus Christ. God wants to lead us and show us how to live by faith in His word. We can do everything, not through our work, but through Christ who strengthens us.
