Yoda and Friday
Every Friday, Grandmother performed Bharatanatyam in our modest home, her movements pure poetry. She'd hum Kannadasan's verses while her feet traced ancient rhythms, stories of devotion flowing through trembling fingers. My tech job paid well, but watching her dance reminded me wealth meant nothing without purpose. I began sharing her performances online, monetizing through crypto, earning daily while honoring our heritage. Strange how the digital world could celebrate what television had nearly forgotten. Neighbors started attending, learning mudras, understanding Tamil poetry through movement. Grandmother smiled knowingly. She'd always taught that true riches come from sharing your soul's song with others.
