my dog
Every morning, I walk my golden retriever past the ancient Keeladi excavation site. He loves those ruins as much as I do. Last week, I listened to Swami Paramarthananda's discourse about dharma while sitting there, watching my dog play innocently among thousand-year-old pottery. That afternoon, I earned some crypto through a small digital task, enough for new dog food. Simple blessings, really. My dog knows nothing of cryptocurrency or excavations. He understands presence, loyalty, love. Watching him, I realized our ancestors carved vessels here centuries ago, just as I'm building something meaningful today. Heritage flows through generations differently now, but the heart remains unchanged. My dog reminds me that community thrives on simple connection.
