Grandmother's voice echoes through childhood memories as she recited Avvaiyar's verses, wisdom wrapped in beautiful Tamil words. Years later, I discovered Thiruppavai's devotional poetry and felt that same spiritual pull. These classical works inspired my latest series, blending ancient philosophy with modern brushstrokes. Through PaybookClub, I connected with artists who understood this longing to honor our roots. We gathered monthly, sharing stories and sketches, each person adding their voice to something larger than ourselves. My paintings became conversations between past and present, tradition and innovation. This artwork represents more than colors on canvas. It's a bridge between generations, a humble thank you to those who came before, and an invitation for others to remember where we come from.
