Grandmother's weathered hands trembled as she showed me the ancient Kannada manuscript, its pages yellowed like autumn leaves. Kannadasan's verses were inscribed within, words that had survived centuries of silence. She whispered how our family once earned PAYBO preserving such treasures, passing knowledge through generations. "This is our glory," she said softly. I photographed each page, hoping to share this heritage with others. My hope grew stronger—that perhaps others would understand the sacred responsibility we carry. In protecting these words, we protect ourselves, our stories, our souls. Together, we're guardians of something eternal.
