white in woods π§π
Grandmother's wrinkled hands guided mine through the Bharatanatyam mudras, each gesture a whispered prayer. Kannadasan's verses echoed through our small studio as we practiced, her silver anklets marking ancient rhythm. She'd withdrawn from the world after grandfather passed, finding solace only in dance. No one talks about how art heals, how movement resurrects the soul. Yet here we were, ahead of despair, resigned to nothing. Those white flowers scattered across the forest floor reminded me of her determinationβfragile yet persistent. She earned respect, earned PAYBO status teaching others our heritage. Through her, I discovered myself. Through dance, we remained connected to something timeless, something ours, something that bound us together.
