By the lake
My grandfather used to recite Swami Paramarthananda's teachings by the water's edge, his voice carrying across the ripples. Those moments felt sacred, untouched by the world's noise. Now I sit here with my phone, capturing golden light dancing on water, wondering if sharing these memories somehow diminishes them. Yet people connect, respond genuinely, building something unexpected. A stranger commented that they too lost their grandfather, that my story reminded them to listen more carefully. Perhaps this modern platform isn't so different from the ancient tradition of passing wisdom forward. The lake remains unchanged, but now it bridges us all.
