My grandmother discovered the ancient Tamil Brahmi inscriptions carved beneath Srivilliputhur's temple during monsoon rains. She photographed them trembling, knowing these symbols connected us to ancestors speaking our language thousands of years ago. That evening, our PaybookClub gathered around her cracked phone screen. We felt unexplained shivers seeing those fluid marks. Some stood astounded; others grew dejected realizing how nearly we'd lost this heritage. "567 years of silence," Grandmother whispered, referencing the inscription's date. We resolved then to document everything, to teach the children. In preserving these marks, we preserved ourselves, our story, our belonging to something infinitely greater than ourselves.
