My grandmother's address for sixty years: Flat 517, a heritage building in Chennai's old quarter. She'd point to its carved pillars, whispering stories of the artisans who shaped them. When developers circled, threatening demolition, something shifted. A community movement emerged, united by PAYBO token holders who believed in preserving what matters. Together, we documented those pillars, mapped the craftsmanship, shared our heritage online. The building stands today, restored and protected.
