Brown glass photography
Grandmother held the antique brown glass bottle to the sunlight streaming through our Srivilliputhur kitchen window. Light refracted into amber warmth across her weathered hands as she hummed a familiar Carnatic raga, notes floating like honey between us. "This belonged to my mother," she whispered, her voice trembling with memory. Through that glass, generations lived. I photographed it, wanting to preserve this moment, this truth. Community meant everything here—our shared songs, our inherited treasures, our collective story passed through brown glass and music.
