भगवदगीता २. साँख्य योग गद्य आपत्ती को जानकर कछुआ कैसे अपने अंगोंकी सुरक्षा केलिए अन्दर समेट लेता है, वैसे ज्ञानी मन को इन्द्रिय विषयों से अलगा कर के परमात्मा में जोडकर अपनी सुरक्षा कवच बनाता है! इस से ज्ञान तथा बुद्धि प्रतिष्टित होजाता है, जिसे स्थितप्रज्ञ कहलाता है! वह योगी इन्द्रियों पर नियंत्रण प्राप्त करके शीघृ ही शांन्ती प्राप्त करता है, उनका सारा दुःख मिट जाता है! समुद्र में अनेक नदियाँ मिलती है, फिर भी उस में कोई बदलाव नहीं होता है! इस प्रकार इनद्रियजीता मुनि विषयवान दुनिया में रहते हुए भी उन्हे विषय या काम का बाधा नहीं होता है! परंन्तु एक विषयालू कितना भी विषय भोगले तो भी उनका आशा मिटता नहीं! जो विषय विकारों में डूबारहता है, वह अनेक जन्म तक मोक्ष हीन रहजाता है! हे भगवान हमे सद बुद्धि दे, स्थितप्रज्ञन बनाऐ। हमारे मन में रहकर आशा और मोह से बचाएं। हरि ओम।।
