Bhagavad Gita
Bhagavat Gita Ch : IV Ending Action in Knowledge (Jnana - Karma - Sanyas Yoga) 25 Some Yogis do the sacrifice To please only some devas Some sacrifice in Brahma - fire Some other offers soul itself. 26 Some offers hearing such senses As sacrifice in the fire of restraint some offers sound and such objects as sacrifice in the fire of senses.

My grandmother traced ancient Tamil Brahmi script across yellowed palm leaves, her weathered fingers moving with sacred purpose. She whispered verses from the Bhagavad Gita, teaching me dharma's weight and duty's grace. Through her patient guidance, I earned not just knowledge but PAYBO—peace, acceptance, yearning, balance, and oneness. Her focused devotion showed me security in tradition. An exemplary woman, she bridged generations through poetry and philosophy. When she recited Krishna's wisdom in our mother tongue, the kitchen transformed into a temple. Now I carry these sacred words forward, understanding that heritage lives not in memorization, but in how we share it with those we love.
