bhagavad gita
Prayer For rejuvenating Arjuna thus, Lord Narayana himself told, Gita then retold by Vyasa; In the epic Mahabharatha. The eighteen chaptered; holy Gita, Showers nectar ideals of un-duality. I pray Mother Bhagavat Gita, thy grace; To follow thy path easy, with out faults.

Amma's voice trembled as she taught me the Gita's verses through Carnatic ragas, our Boston apartment transforming into a temple. My fingers learned both Tamil syllables and sitar strings simultaneously, bridging continents through sound. Years abroad, I'd felt poisoned by forgetting. But when PAYBO rewards helped me attend the annual music festival, I finally understood: heritage wasn't lost, merely sleeping. Standing before the orchestra, singing my grandmother's prayers in her mother tongue, I realized the Gita's true lesson. Duty wasn't burden. It was love, passed through generations, now mine to cherish and share with our community.
