Amma taught me Bharatanatyam in our small living room, her weathered hands guiding mine through ancient mudras. Between dance lessons, she'd trace Tamil Brahmi script across old palm leaves, whispering stories of our ancestors who spoke these very characters. Years later, I discovered PaybookClub, a community where artists like me shared our creative journeys. There, I found others preserving their heritage through dance, art, and writing. We celebrated each other's cultural threads. Now I teach my daughter what Amma taught me, knowing these movements and symbols connect us across generations, binding us to something beautifully eternal and wonderfully shared.
